Character Post II

There are many important characters in the book Maniac Magee. One important character in-particular is John McNab. To everyone else he wants to look like he's the best and the "baddest," but in reality he's really a nice guy. In the beginning of the book he tries to strike out Maniac but it backfires on him when Maniac hit every ball. In the end John McNab helps Maniac when he lets him live with the McNabs. I think John McNab is really a thoughtful and good character on the inside.
